It all began in May 2022 when we met online, and what started as a few messages quickly turned into something we both knew was special. Our first date was at Institution Ale Company, a brewery in Santa Barbara. We bonded over a love of sports, great beer, and easy conversation. From that moment, it was clear we were on the same wavelength. What stood out most was how natural it felt to be together—we instantly clicked.

As we got to know each other, life turned into one big adventure. Whether we’re cheering on our Cincinnati and Atlanta teams (sometimes in rival matchups!), or planning our next spontaneous road trip, our time together has been filled with laughter and memorable experiences. Traveling became our thing, and we found joy in discovering hidden gems—especially breweries and distilleries in new cities. From the stadiums to the open roads, every adventure has brought us closer.

In May 2024, we made the decision to get married in a way that felt right for us—simple, meaningful, and true to who we are. On May 13th, we eloped in a private ceremony at the Santa Barbara courthouse, surrounded by the beauty of the place where we shared so many special moments. There were no big crowds or elaborate details, just the two of us, making a lifelong promise in a moment that was intimate and perfect.

Now, as we look ahead, we’re excited for the next chapter. We’ll be making a big move to the Northern Virginia/Washington DC area, ready to explore new places, create new memories, and continue this incredible journey as husband and wife. The adventure is just getting started, and we can’t wait to see where life takes us next!
